Our Advantages
Rotary transfer machines offer several advantages in the manufacturing industry due to their unique design and capabilities:
High production rates: Designed to handle multiple workstations simultaneously, allowing for the concurrent processing of multiple parts. This results in high production rates and increased throughput, ideal for high-volume manufacturing.
Precision and accuracy: Built with high-quality components and advanced control systems, ensuring precise and repeatable positioning, leading to tight tolerances and improved part quality.
Reduced setup time: Quick changeovers between different production runs are relatively fast once initial setup is complete, minimizing downtime.
Flexibility: Capable of handling a wide range of part sizes and geometries, offering versatility in manufacturing different components.
Cost-effectiveness: Higher initial investment pays off long-term through massive production rates, lower labor costs, and reduced cost per part.
Operator safety: Fully enclosed structures protect operators from potential hazards, chips, and coolant, creating a clean work environment.
Automation integration: Can be seamlessly built into automated production lines for lights-out manufacturing.
Space-efficient: Occupies a compact footprint compared to multiple standalone machines, optimizing factory floor space.
Consistency and reliability: Consistent operations run with minimal variations in part quality, reducing defect rates.
Successful Business Case
The largest valve factory in Vietnam has been renovated and has introduced 23 advanced rotary transfer machines since 2019.
After years of cooperation and exploration, we have developed and manufactured a rotary transfer machine which is suitable for high-precision processing of 4" ball valves according to customer need.
This large rotary transfer machine weighs more than 17 tons, has a height of 3.6 meters, and a front width of more than 4.5 meters. It is currently the largest machine of its kind in China.
Working Process
Overview of the Function and Operation of a Vertical Rotary Transfer Machine
1. Workpiece Loading
Manual, manipulator, or robotic loading options are available depending on work pieces and processing requirements.
2. Indexing and Workpiece Positioning
The indexing mechanism rotates the rotary table, moving the workpiece to different machining stations arranged vertically around the axis. Each station is equipped with necessary tools, fixtures, and equipment.
3. Machining Operations
As the workpiece is indexed, various operations are performed, including drilling, milling, tapping, reaming, boring, grinding, turning, or honing.
4. Chip Management
Systems incorporate chip conveyors or collection trays to handle chips and swarf generated during machining, keeping the working environment clean.
5. Workpiece Unloading
After all operations are completed, the finished workpiece is unloaded. The indexing mechanism returns the drum to the initial position to start the cycle again.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What are the environmental requirements for using the CNC rotary transfer machine?
CNC equipment should be kept away from high humidity, excessive dust, and corrosive gases. Avoid direct sunlight and thermal radiation. Keep precision equipment away from sources of high vibration, such as punch presses and forging tools. The operating temperature should be maintained between 15°C and 35°C (20°C is recommended for precision machining).
How should the power supply be managed to prevent electrical fluctuations?
To prevent instantaneous electrical interference and voltage fluctuations greater than ±10%, it is recommended to use a dedicated line power supply directly from the low-voltage distribution room. Integrating voltage regulators will further stabilize the power supply quality.
What daily accuracy checks are required before processing?
Before starting operations, preheat the machine for about 10 minutes (extend this time if the machine has been unused for long periods). Ensure the oil circuit is clear, and make sure the machine is completely dry and clean.
What does daily machine maintenance involve?
Daily maintenance includes cleaning dust and chips from key areas (control panel, spindle, tool carriage, and turret), checking the lubrication and coolant oil levels, verifying standard air pressure, checking safety signals and alarm lights, inspecting the oil pressure unit for leaks, and maintaining a clean environment around the tool.
What steps should be followed for weekly and monthly inspections?
Weekly: Dismantle the shaft chip guard, clean the ball lead screw, oil pipe joint, and limit switch. Replace hydraulic and magazine reduction oils, clean the electrical box, check mechanical levels, and replace the cutting fluid. Monthly: Verify shaft track lubrication, clean the limit switches, and make sure all nameplates and safety warnings remain clear.
Who should perform complex maintenance and annual repairs?
Annual professional maintenance or complex repairs should be carried out exclusively by certified, professional engineers. Please contact your dealer directly for technical repair assistance.
